Sunday Night Thoughts

I only wish our sunset was going to look like the picture above.  At the moment I am staring at the hill across the road and the top is covered in fog.  It’s been a rainy weekend here in the Brook.  In better news, Spring has literally burst into bloom.  There is green to be seen everywhere and the flowering trees are blooming as well.

Happy Mother’s Day

Today is Mother’s Day and it has been a good day.  We were going to go out for dinner for Pam yesterday but our son was sick.  We will do that tomorrow night after everyone is done with work.  Pam did a wonderful job preaching this morning – knocked the ball out of the park.  In case you didn’t know it, you are God’s masterpiece.  The video is below.

The school year is quickly wrapping up which means our bus driving will wind up here in a couple of weeks.  This week we get to go to Buffalo for our monthly pastor’s meeting and I will be leading a short musical worship set.  I always enjoy doing that for my peers.

On Friday night, we had a fantastic night of musical worship at Emmaus Road.  It was interesting because as I thought about the songs I picked, I wanted to change them.  But it turned out they were the right songs for the night.

That’s about all I have for tonight.  Have a great week.
