Sunday Night Thoughts

As I write, it’s hard to believe that it’s still light out – the joys of Daylight Savings Time.  Although getting up in the dark this morning wasn’t as fun.  This morning we woke up to 10 degrees – winter isn’t quite done with us yet…although by the end of the week, we should see some warmer temps.  It was good to see the sun today. It’s been quite a snowy week here, although I have gotten in a couple of runs.

Yesterday was nice as we had a day off, but we get ready to go into high gear this week. We have several doctors appointments this week. That coupled with several Lenten events, board meeting and on Saturday we are having a Passover Seder officiated by a Messianic Jew from the Pittsburgh area.

I am excited about what God is doing here in our area.  We had an excellent community luncheon last Tuesday. Father Tom Brown of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church brought the message and did a great job.  On Wednesday we met as a group of community pastors and brainstormed at how we could meet the needs of our community better.  I believe that God is preparing our community for revival.

This afternoon we had our weekly Community Choir rehearsal.  We will be singing on Palm Sunday evening at 7 PM.  Here’s a very short preview video:

We have a wonderful group of singers and musicians and it is my pleasure to direct them.

This morning, Pam and I team taught. It was a wonderful service and Holy Spirit inspired – from beginning to end including Sunday School.  God is on the move here in McKean County.

I’ve used up most of my words for the day – I’m still catching up from that lost hour…so signing off until next week.  Blessings…Dale
