Sunday Night Thoughts

Sunday Night Thoughts

52 Weeks ago, I was writing my first Sunday Night Thoughts post from Eldred.  This week has been a bittersweet week. Pam and I are thankful for God’s favor and yet as we looked at the pictures in our memories feed, we remembered the people we miss.  The good think is we have made more good friends.

This week we were getting busy for our Sunday School Picnic and Open House.  We had over 50 people attend yesterday.  One of our young ladies planned the event and put it all together and did a great job.

I was able to get in some good running and walking this week.  Even though the humidity has ramped up.  I had some good runs this week.  In addition I did my van runs and I am preparing a seminar on worship for our family camp next week.

This weekend we also hosted good friends, Jim and Karen Pickett.  They are missionaries to Mozambique and are equipping the national church there for ministry.  We have been friends for a long time and it was good to spend time together this weekend.

We were planning on doing an outdoor service this weekend, but the weather didn’t cooperate.  We had a wonderful Spirit-filled service this morning and we learned what God is doing in Mozambique.  So that’s about it for this week.  Have a great one! Blessings….
