Happy Mother’s Day
As most of you know, today is Mother’s Day. Because we are a pastoral family, we usually end up going out to eat the day before. Pam’s choice for Mother’s Day was Sprague’s Maple Farms in nearby Portville, NY. If you are ever in the area, you need to check it out. The food is always delicious and you won’t go away hungry.
Just a few moments ago, I called my mom and wished her a Happy Mother’s Day. It has been a good day after a busy week. I seem to be doing a lot of driving…driving for the local transportation company and driving family to the doctors.
I have also been working on putting together a Baccalaureate Service – along with some other pastors – for our local high school. Next Sunday is the service, so that is one of the jobs that is priority one this week – as it was last week.
Spring is well on its way here in the Brook. However it has been a very cool, rainy spring. This week we are suppose to turn the corner to a bit warmer weather.
In running news – since I didn’t put up an update yesterday – I was able to get in 25 miles for the week. That’s the first time in a long time. As the summer arrives it will be easier, because I won’t be driving as much. I’m hoping to get in close to 100 miles this month.
That’s about all I have for this week. Blessings….
