It has been several weeks since I’ve done a running update. While I am still an avid runner, I find working a full time job that has a variable schedule puts a crimp in the running. I am looking forward to having a more stable schedule in a few weeks. After a great month of May both running and walking, June has been a struggle. I am currently at 40 miles, but this week should help me get back in the swing of things. Today’s run was a good run – a seven miler at under a 9:10/mile pace – almost 10 seconds a mile faster than Wednesday’s pace. I’m hoping to keep this up next week and even get in a few walks – see if I can double my mileage.
