Sunday Night Thoughts

Sunday Night Thoughts

The first day of spring arrived in quite some fashion in the Shenandoah Valley.  Winter decided it wanted to get one last snowfall in.  So yesterday, on the last day of winter – it snowed.  It didn’t stick much, but it snowed none the less.  Like I said a very interesting way to start spring, especially since we have had highs in the high 70’s during the past week.  We return to the 70’s mid-week this week.

It has been a busy week at work and I ended up leading three days this week.  While I enjoy being a team leader, sometimes it can get stressful.  Spring means it starts getting busier and some schools will be on spring break this week, so this week will be busier and then our local school district has break next week.  So we are in for a few busy weeks.

As you can tell by my running posts I had a good week running.

We had a good service this morning, despite the fact I forgot the lyric sheets at home.  It was different but it was still good.  This week we remember Holy Week.  There will be scripture readings each day through Sunday and I will also be posting a daily prayer for the next two weeks.

That’s about all I have for the day.  Have a great week!
