Sunday Night Thoughts

Sunday Night Thoughts

I was going to try something a little different tonight, but it didn’t quite work the way I wanted it to, so we are going to do this the usual way.  Welcome to the first Sunday Night Thoughts of 2016.  It really is hard to believe that 2016 is here.  I know that since we resigned and have been waiting Pam and I thought it would never get here.  We are looking forward to what God may have for us in 2016.

This week was mainly filled with working.  It was a busy week at Chick-fil-A with the holidays and many people traveling.  I also worked a couple of extra hours for my fellow team members.  I even had a chance to work in the kitchen yesterday.  That always makes the day interesting.

I have been staying true on the running front.  Tomorrow is going to be the first of the truly cold runs – and it looks like I’m going to get more.  It looks like winter has finally arrived in earnest so I’m going to have to try to figure out when I’m going to get out for runs and try to work 40 hours a week.  I’ll let you know how all that worked out next Sunday.

For the second year in a row, I missed staying up for New Years.  I wanted to get a head start on New Year’s Day, so I skipped staying up.  Last year, we had just returned from Hephzibah on our missions trip.

As you may have noticed, Pam and I have been fairly active on the blogging front of late.  It seems like the waiting has made it easier to write.  I have a few more blog ideas that I found on my iPad this morning.  So hopefully I will get those up in the next couple of weeks.

Other than that, it has been a quiet week.  As we enter this new year, I would appreciate your prayers as we seek the Lord’s direction for a place of ministry.  See you next week!
