Here we are once again on a Sunday night. It has been an incredibly busy and yet very good week. I can’t say that I got much done in the running department this week, hence the lack of a Saturday Running Update post. I’m really hoping to get out this week and really test that hamstring. Tomorrow I plan on going for a short run to see how that all works out.
It’s Beginning to Look Alot Like Christmas
This week we had several events that are starting to get us ready for Christmas. One of the fun events that James and I did yesterday was participate in the Waynesboro Christmas parade with Chick-fil-A. James was the cow and I provided some sound.
Today Chick-fil-A had our annual Christmas party and we went to Jump Trampoline Park in Charlottesville. We had a great time and even played a few games of dodgeball on the trampolines – that was different. I was even one of the last out – which is a surprise from my younger days.
This week we have a Christmas dinner with the Waynesboro church on Friday night and I am looking forward to that.
I have even begun to start playing Christmas songs around the house. Yes, I listen to my own eclectic mix of Christmas songs. I am enjoying the Pentatonix Christmas albums.
This morning as we were getting ready for church, I was in a little bit of a down mood, but the Holy Spirit moved in a wonderful way as we worshiped in music and with God’s word.
That’s about all I have for this week. See you next week, and seize the day!
