Loving the Warm Weather
For the most part, the fall foliage part of the fall has passed us by. What hasn’t passed us by (yet) is the fall-like weather. We have had some crisp mornings, followed by nice afternoons. Today was just another one of those. Pam and I decided that we would take advantage of the nice weather and go out for some exercise. I decided I needed to get my run in, since I didn’t get one yesterday – It was tricky running with lunch still fresh in my stomach. But, the good news is that the run went pretty well, following the first mile. At the moment we are relaxing for the evening.
Tomorrow morning I will go out for another run before heading out to work .
It’s been a fairly uneventful week here – that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I did send out our resume with several updates, including some reformatting. We would continue to appreciate your prayers as we seek the Lord’s direction.
This morning we headed out to worship with our friends over at Waynesboro Wesleyan. We are really grateful to all our friends. Both across the street and around the world. Pastor Craig’s message was on the importance of friendship using the text of David and Jonathan. We had a great service this morning. I am thankful for the opportunity that we have to minister in a small way there.
That’s about all I have for this evening, still getting used to the dark at 6 in the evening. Until next week, continue to seize the day!
