Sunday Night Thoughts

Sunday Night Thoughts

As I write this, I am relaxing and watching football.  In my house I don’t get to watch much football.  It was great to watch the end of the Steelers game.  I have quite a few Steeler friends and was glad to see the Steelers win that one.  Currently I am watching the Colts and Broncos – not really rooting for anyone.  The game I am waiting for is the Cowboys and Eagles this evening – I’m going to try to get in a nap after I write this.

It has been a great day following several long days – I put in some serious hours and running on Friday and Saturday – so today was quite nice – I am really enjoying the afternoon and evening.  We had a wonderful morning of worship and then our friends invited us for lunch which was very good and then we played a great game of dominoes.  That is always fun.

It looks like our weather will be turning a little more fall like this week – we had some very nice days over the last few – very warm for November.  Slowing winter is approaching.

In closing, I would ask you to continue to keep us in your prayers as we continue to seek the Lord’s direction.  It seems hard to believe that in just a few months we will be back in pastoral search season.  We are praying that the right doors open and that we will be where God wants us to be.

Have an awesome week and carpe diem!
