Running Update

movementThe first week of November is in the books.  It was quite the week – the weather was beautiful – we have had a great start to November – that is partially why the running went so well this week.  As I have written in the last few weeks, my current running goal is to rebuild.  It’s been a tough balancing act between working at Chick-fil-A and doing my training runs.  Add to the fact that I don’t have any races in the works because we don’t know where we will be in a few months.

This was a great week running wise.  The pace of each run was in the 9 to 9-1/2 minute mile mark.  The really good news is that I completed almost 20 miles running and walked 6 miles.  I also had a long run that clocked in a 7.25 miles.  The last time I had a week over 25 miles was in June and that was also the same week as my last run over 7.25 miles.  I really think that the rebuilding is working.  It looks like we have another decent week ahead on the weather front – the days that are rainy are the days I’m working. I’m hoping to end the week near 50 miles for the month.  I would be extremely happy with that and will continue to Press On!
