How true this little statement is. I found this little gem posted on some exercise equipment in Gypsy Hill Park. There are several pieces there with motivational, inspirational quotes on them. Last night I was looking back through this blog – especially as it related to running. Most of my early running journal is on this blog. Most of it now is over at Map My Run, but I still occasionally write how things are going. It really was amazing to see my progress over the last 2-1/2 years. It has also been amazing to watch the weight loss. Who would have ever thought an out-of-shape 265 pound man who couldn’t run 200 yards would be transformed into a 200 pound runner who can run a 9 minute mile (when I really try) and run for 10 miles once a week? Very amazing to me and yet I keep pressing on!
