It’s interesting to see how the different states we have lived in stacked up against the rest of the country. Indiana was ranked 16th — Virginia was ranked 18th — then we move down a long way, Pennsylvania and Michigan were 26 and 27 respectively and finally New York came in at 39. It was interesting to note that Vermont came in ranked at the bottom. The other thing that was interesting to note is that the seat of the Great Awakenings in the United States (the New England states) are now the least “religious” states in the country. It really gives you something to think about.
