Sunday Night Thoughts

It was a beautiful day here in the Shenandoah Valley.  We along we many others are beginning to prepare for Thanksgiving.  Our worship set reflected that as Pastor Barry preached on being thankful.  Our praise team did a great job today and we were also blessed with the community bell choir that is based out of Parkway.  They also did a great job.

Our students continue to work on the Christmas musical which is just three weeks away.  Can you believe that Christmas is coming up on us?  They are doing a great job and I’m looking forward to their presentation.

The house is coming right along and we hope to be in it in about three weeks.  We are looking forward to our girls coming home from college this Tuesday and the should be with us through the weekend.  It will be a short work week and I have two services to plan for before vacation.

Next week is the First Sunday of Advent, so we are picking out songs for that and this coming Saturday we are having a praise and prayer service and hopefully the first of many.

It’s been a long but good day, so it’s time to sign-off.  Seize the Day!
