Since we moved to our new home, we discovered crows. A couple of weeks ago Dale and I tried to take our garbage to the trash compactor. When we got there, it was closed. We tried to think of what to do with it till after we got back from getting something to eat. The garbage started to smell in the car. We decided to just leave it near the church until we got back. We thought it would be safe there. When we got back the crows had found the garbage and had started pulling it out of the bag. We cleaned up the garbage and took it home with us.

I have been thinking about this event and I think that is how sin comes into our lives. Sin is like letting the crows pick at the bag. We let sin do the same thing. Sin usually does not come waltzing into our lives. We get close to sin thinking that it will not affect us. If we stay close to the sin, it will start to pick at us. Before we know what happened, the sin will take over our life. Dale and I did not know that there was a crow problem. As Christians we must be aware. We need to keep our eyes open for sin. Sin can make a mess of your life just like the crows made the mess in front of the church.
