The Weather Channel has been using this name for the series of storms that have passed through the East Coast this past week. It has been an amazing week. The forecasters missed the predictions for Tuesday’s storm. We got just about 1 to 2 inches, but the wind yesterday, blew around that light snow like crazy, causing all kinds of snow drifts. Thanks to a good, missionary friend, who just happened to be staying at our house Tuesday and Wednesday, we were able to keep things cleaned out. Matt and myself along with our lead pastor were able to get us out of our long driveway this morning. Thanks and we really appreciate that. I believe that everyone is breathing a sigh of relief. It looks like it will be a few days before the next storm. In addition to all that it is nice and sunny and relatively warm out there today, so the snow is beginning to melt. Our teens are getting ready to serve brunch this coming Saturday and we are looking forward to that.
This morning as we were shoveling, I began singing the words to “Today Is The Day” by Lincoln Brewster. These are good days and I look forward to continuing to worship my Savior and my God. Blessings….
