The weather has been making it very difficult to get every other day runs in right now.  I’ve been running every third and fourth day and it has begun taking a toll on me.  Today’s 4-mile run proved difficult, but I was able to complete it by perseverance.  I completed the run in a little under an hour.  I didn’t make note of what time I started and I ran a little further than 4 miles.  The weather appears that it will interfere with me getting in a run until Friday.  I am still hopeful to get three 4-mile runs in this week and then try to run on Saturday again.  I’ve really began the winter maintenance mode — running just enough so that I don’t have to start over again.  Plus I really miss my running mentor who is out of (running) commission for about 4 to 6 weeks.  I am looking forward to his return.  As always — Pressing On!
