Tonight was our annual Mosaic Christmas Party. We had 18 students and 9 staff. As part of our little celebration, we decorate with lights and the fellowship hall looked great. I led the students in several songs and then we had the Christmas story from Luke 2:1-20. Following that we heard the story of Shoemaker Martin. Then we sang Michael W. Smith’s “Emmanuel” and one of our leaders sang “The First Noel.” Following that we had prayer and then had some food. It was a nice low key night and a great way to introduce a two-week break. Most of the students in the county have a half day tomorrow and then are off until the 5th of January. The rest get of Friday for a two-week break.
The next two days are big days at The Salvation Army, so I’ll be doing my part in a support role there. Got to get some sleep before then. Seize the Day!
