After a one week break, it was back to Monday Night Church League Bowling.  We are tied for last (14th) place coming into this week.  Our team started the night with two really good games.  We bowled over a 900 as a team on the 2nd game.  The third game we fell apart.  We won at least 4 points if not 5 and lost 2 or 3.  Hopefully this should get us out of the basement.  Tonight was our annual bowling Christmas party, so there was lots of food.

I had a great night bowling tonight, rolling a 156 to start.  I then rolled a 199 (a personal best) and missed a 200 by one single pin (oh the humanity.)  The last game was on and off till I hit a hot streak toward the end and ended the game with a 159 for a 514 set (also a personal best)(also my first time over 500)  This personal best was almost 50 pins better than my last personal best.  It also brought my average back up to a 138 after dropping to a 135.  In addition, Rebecca came along and it was like old times — lots of fun.  By the way, I was the high bowler in the 2nd game — It is a rare occasion when that happens, which makes it even more sweet.  Blessings…
