Tonight, Pam and I rejoined Mosaic. Last week we were away with Pam’s family. We had our core students there tonight and several of them arrived early, which was good. Since we had mainly core students the worship time went well. I taught the middle school class tonight and they were just a bit wired. Sometimes it’s hard to know just how to unwire them for 30 minutes. We did have a few moments that seemed to go well. We had 15 tonight which is better than last week — we had 10, plus our six or seven staff members each week. One nice bonus tonight was not to have to drive any students to church or home from church.
Tomorrow, Pam and I are going visiting to shut-in’s and hospitals and try to complete preparations for this coming week. I will be heading to Frankfort, IN to lead worship and serve tables at FLAME. Our local church conference will be on the Sunday I return, so Pam and our board secretary will be putting together the packets. I’m looking forward to the time away — there has been too much drama at my bi-vocational job the last week, so it will be nice to get away and minister to those who are preparing for the ministry. Maybe I’ll share a little about that tomorrow. Blessings…
