I had a horrible thing happen to me this week; I received an AARP card in the mail. Let me just tell you that I am not old enough for one. It is a reminder that I am not as young as I hope I am. Part of the human life is to get older. There is a funny part of this story is that even if I am getting older; I still look young enough that people think I am Dale’s daughter or a sister to my girls. Can you imagine when I am old enough to get an AARP card and have to be carded to make sure I am old enough to have it?

Last night was the last night of this year’s bowling season. We had a roll-off — several teams rolled for 1st through 4th trophies, while the rest of us bowled against each other for roll-off champion. It became apparent early that the roll-off champion wasn’t going to be us. I bowled terrible, probably as bad as I have bowled all season — 94, 124, and 100. I had a few good rolls, but they were few and far between. I’m glad it’s over — Just wait until next year!
