Today, we are wearing red to highlight heart disease in women. For me this is important because I know my health history. I am a heart attack just waiting to happen. Both of my parents have had heart attacks and a couple of my grandparents have had bad hearts, too. Most women do not take heart disease seriously and that is asking for trouble. If you have concern about your heart, please go see a doctor and if they do not take seriously, find a new doctor. A couple of years ago I was having chest pains and went to my doctor. She was shocked that a woman went to see her for the problem, because most women would not have gone for that problem. I was fine. We were in the middle of finding a new church and moving and there were problems at the church. So it was just too much stress in my life. So please wear red today to get the word out.
