It was one of those days that I had to make a list to make sure I got everything done. I had to drop off stuff at the Salvation Army, pay a couple of bills around town and other sundry things that needed to be done. So I was in a hurry for most of the day, not taking the time think of what people were thinking of me. I had a goal and that was to finish the list. Now you have to understand most days I am not so goal driven but the list that I had in my hand I had tried to finish the day before. I did not get anything done the day before and there were important things on this list. The very last thing on the list was getting stamps. For some reason getting stamps brings out my sanguine side. I do not have clue why, but buying stamps is a fun thing for me. I walked in the post office and rang the bell for assistance. The woman who works there came out and she took a look at me. She told me how much she enjoys me coming to the post office. She asked me if I make all my decisions with the excitement that I have when buying stamps. I did not answer her but truthfully no, most times I do not have the same excitement. As I got back in the van it hit me. Everywhere I when that day there were people watching the way I live and what how I reflect the Lord I serve. Since then I have really watched what my life is saying, not only about me, but what is saying about the Lord I serve.
