What a good day — from Sunday School – I taught the Middle School class and Pam taught the “Young Adults” — to worship — It was great having Rebecca on the worship team this week. We used our video projector for the entire worship service for the first time and there were no technical difficulties! The music ranged from contemporary worship songs to bluegrass and gospel hymns. I was pleased with the way the sermon turned out and we got a good response. Everyone hung around after service — which in my mind is always a good thing.

This evening we had a Wesleyan Covenant Renewal Service — check the post below for the details on the logistics. What a sweet service and the spirit was there as well. I feel really sorry for those who missed it. The Covenant Renewal Service is a reminder of what God brought us from and what we “signed up” for as a believer. We sang several songs a cappella and it was cool, especially “It Is Well.” I believe everyone left with goosebumps — a very good thing.

It has been a good day and now I am basking in God’s goodness — God bless and have a great week.

Here is a brief outline of the Wesleyan Covenant Renewal Service we did at our church tonight. I’ll list the songs we did which were different than the ones listed [here]. If you click on that link, it will take you to the full service.
