Several weeks ago, we attended a worship concert by BBC Atlantic — a worship band from Bethany Bible College in Sussex, NB. This is one of our five Wesleyan sponsored colleges and the only one that is specifically a Bible College. One of the last songs they played that night was this one, “Mighty to Save.” Yes, it is more of an Easter themed song, but like I have said before, we can’t divorce the Christ of the Cradle from the Christ of the Cross — God became flesh and moved into our neighborhood — He came to die — He came to rise again and conquer death and the grave — Our God is mighty to save.
