Because we had a one day Vacation Bible School yesterday, we decided to cancel our Spiritual Formation time tonight. This morning we had a good closing program. I was involved by teaching the teen track yesterday. I used various media during the day, including CD trax and video clips. Some of them worked well for the illustrations and some didn’t. I’m still on a learning curve there.

We try not to cancel Sunday evening, because many who attend that service are teachers who have taught at least once if not twice during the week and this allows them to be fed spiritually.

While this is not usually a tech blog, I wanted to mention that I am very pleased with my daughter’s new laptop. Dell was having a special to upgrade to 2 GBs of RAM for the same price as one as well as a free upgrade to a 160 GB hard drive. It appears Windows Vista likes the configuration. The only thing I don’t like is that annoying pop up box that asked if you initiated a program. I am not a power user. So it is more than adequate for the task.
