What a day we had today. Again, I say that in a good way. I enjoyed the Sunday School lesson, which I don’t teach. We looked at the last chapter of 1 John.

The worship service went in a great direction. We used some older worship songs because we have been singing quite a few new songs lately. We had some great testimonies and praises before we prayed. I again shared from Revelation. This time from chapter 5. These are some of my favorite passages because of the way they describe worship in heaven. We again finished with several songs describing the Lamb and the throne.

This evening, we had a good old-fashioned prayer meeting. We sang several songs and then had an extended time of prayer. I felt worn-out afterwards, but in a good way. It was good for us to do that. We are probably going to do more of that on Sunday nights. Prayer is so powerful and we forget to do it. We started looking at the spiritual discipline of testimony, but didn’t get very far and that’s ok, because we did have a powerful time of prayer. I’m looking forward to next Sunday evening.
