Tonight, we are planning a prayer rally with our students. We’ve also invited our adults to attend and be part of the rally. We are doing that in support of tomorrow’s National Day of Prayer. I am looking forward to tonight’s service. I encourage you, as I will be doing tomorrow, to spend some time in prayer for our country. Then spend time in prayer for your community and pray for the church to be the church that Christ has called us to be. We have a great mission — to make disciples of all nations — baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — teaching them all Christ has taught us. My prayer for our church is to participate in Christ’s mission and to be His hands and feet to a world that needs it.
