Today was a great day of ministry at our church. We had a good service this morning as we worshiped together with singing, prayer, giving and the Word. I preached from Isaiah 55 and asked the question “Are you hungering and thirsting after Christ and His way?” We had some technical difficulties following the service and the CD did not turn out, so this afternoon we went back to church and recorded the service for a second time. We have several shut-ins and they are enjoying the revitalization of this ministry. We try to include the music as well. You can hear the results here. We are still working on getting the mix right during the music.

This evening we had a great time of fellowship during our 10th annual Chili Cook-off. I wouldn’t have wanted to be one of the judges. The competition was fierce and we had a great time. Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to Rhonda and Teresa for organizing it all. All in all a buzy day, but rewarding.
