This afternoon Pam and I took some lasagna to some members. We also took flowers that we had at the church to a house.
This evening we had a great service. For the first time in many Sunday evenings, I just led the music instead of playing and leading. We then had a wonderful, extended time of praise, testimony, and prayer before continuing our study on corporate discipline of scripture. I was encouraged by tonight’s service. It really was a throwback to services I remember as a child (the saints gathering and praying and sharing their testimonies). I left feeling as if we had really met with God. I look forward to more Sunday evenings like tonight.
