There’s not much to say about tonight. One thing I can say, I am not an above average bowler. I rolled a 311 set tonight, but I had fun encouraging the team. One of our team members who bowls a 117 average, rolled at 202 game. That was cool. I love when that kind of thing happens.
I have a couple of ideas marinating in my head for some other thoughts this week. Stay tuned.

The lectionary readings for this coming Sunday are:
Isaiah 62:1-5; Psalm 36:5-10; I Corinthians 12:1-11; John 2:1-11
This week I’m beginning a series on God’s amazing love. The gospel lesson deals with Jesus first miracle, turning the water into wine at Cana. The psalm for this week has been paraphrased by the band Third Day with their song “Your Love, Oh Lord.” I may teach this during worship this Sunday. The New Testament lesson deals with spiritual gifts and what we are to do with them. The Old Testament lesson is Isaiah’s prayer for Jerusalem, hoping that they will return to God.
