Tonight I returned to bowling. I had no idea what to expect. Would it be a waste of my time? The first game I bowled a 121. Not quite my average of 128 but close. The next game things really came together as I bowled a turkey (three strikes in a row) and finished with a 161. I cooled off a bit in the third game but still bowled above my average for a 135. I finished the night with a 417 set. It’s been a few weeks since I rolled anything close to that. Our team won two out of three and took total pins. It was fun tonight and it was fun to win as well.

My daughter, Rebecca, normally comes with me on Monday nights. Tonight she came and bought me chili cheese fries. That was a real treat for both of us. They were good and we enjoyed them. Thank you Rebecca for the treat. Next week, we have our Christmas dinner during bowling. That night was one of my high nights last year. We’ll see how it goes this year.
