Yes, this post is a little late. Normally, I take time as the evening is winding down on Sunday, to gather my thoughts and post something inspirational. Unfortunately the computer had other plans last night. (Actually, I think it was the power strip the computer was plugged into.)

Yesterday, we restarted the Lifesong Lessons sermon series. To recap, this series is based on the Casting Crowns CD, Lifesong. By the way, it is an excellent CD. One of the themes that runs throughout is this idea of worship; our life should reflect the one we worship. Over the past five weeks, I have usually presented the song from the CD somewhere in our worship service. Yesterday’s sermon was “Set Me Free.” We looked at the idea that Christ can set us free from the chains that bind us. Many are bound by invisible chains that only Christ can break. He broke the chains of legion and he can break yours as well. Christ has created his children to be Masterpieces. It is my prayer that Christ will break the chains in your life so that you can become everything he intended you to be.
