Today was one of those days, that I felt God’s presence through the entire day; Sunday School, Worship, Ministry Leadership Team, and Discipleship. What a day we had. We recognized our Sunday School teachers during worship, as well as our Mosaic (Student Ministries) teachers and helpers. As I looked at the group, I noticed that over half of them were also on the Ministry Leadership Team (LBA). The teachers also sponsored a picnic after morning worship, so many of them were active all day. As your pastor let me thank you again for all the hard work you do. We have a wonderful staff of teachers at Preston Wesleyan Church.
This morning’s message said it all. I pray this each Sunday as I enter the church, “Hide me behind the cross, Lord.” My prayer is that as the apostle Paul taught us this morning, “God forbid that I should boast in anything except the cross.” That is my prayer and that is my prayer for you this week as well.
