Our family made what has become an annual pilgrimage to Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom. We had a great day on what began as a cool day to get into the water. The temperature topped off at 80 degrees with very little humidity. Our family enjoyed the various rides. Athough, I’m getting a little old for some of the spinning rides. I have always enjoyed the Tilt-a-Whirl, but yesterday was not one of those days I enjoyed it. I did enjoy the Steel Force, which when it was first built was the largest steel coaster, but you know how those records go and someone built a larger coaster. I missed getting on the Talon, which is a hanging coaster, but did ride the Hydra, a floorless coaster. It was a great day with the family. The rest of the family likes on-the-ground rides that go in circles, like Music Express, The Whip, Scrambler and the ever popular Tilt-a-Whirl. Those of you who will see me on Sunday will notice the massive sunburn on my face.
